Lung Transplants

Lung transplants are not always an option for COPD patients.  As in Dennis' case, his age and other health problems disqualify him for this option.  Since I do not feel qualified to explain this medical option I have included links below to highly respected sites.

If you feel this may be an option for you, please discuss it with a medical professional as soon as possible.  I do know that we were told the wait time for a transplant could be as much as 2 years.  I also know that other patients in Dennis therapy program died while waiting for a transplant.
